I am very thankful for these things. One thing I am very thankful for is my parents because they are there when I need them they take care of me and my siblings. I love them so very much and I don’t know what I will do without them. The second thing that I am thankful for is the food that I eat because some countries are suffering because they don’t have anything to eat so they starve to death, and so many people just play with their food and make a giant mess they throw it like its funny but its not, and it’s like people think they have an unlimited supply of food so they just throw it everywhere and just trash it. The third thing I am thankful for is my house because I have somewhere cozy to stay and I’m glad I am not living in the streets or anything because life would be hard If I didn’t have a house. The last thing I am thankful for are my siblings because they are very funny and entertaining and If I didn’t have any sibling my life would probably be pretty boring even though my siblings are sometimes very loud and annoying.

I have have been granted three wishes from a genie, how cool is that! My first wish would be that I have a lots of money so it would be easy to pay of bills and debts and I could buy all the dream stuff that I want, like my dream house my dream car I could also start my own company with that money and make even more money and I could give some money to my family. My second wish would be to be better at math because I am not a pro at math and if I were better at math I would have a better grade in math. I just think sometimes math is confusing to me like the steps to solve the question and other things. My third and final wish would be that I will be granted the power to fly because it would be easier to get around to places like going back to my house I wouldn’t need my parents to pick me up and I can just fly there, it would save money for gas and also it would probably be a nice view up in the sky seeing everything from up high.

This month I read a book called Spy School At Sea by Stuart Gibbs in this book the characters Ben, Mike, and Erica are assigned to a mission pretending to be the kids of Catherine and Arthur Hale, on a family vacation in order to disguise with the other people they are aboard a fancy new cruise ship Emperor of the Seas they have to catch a bad guy named Murray Hill who had escaped from jail and is carrying a bomb on the cruise, but he is protected by many of his henchmen they have to catch him and stop him from bombing the cruise ship in order to complete the mission if not they will all be doomed, but they face many obstacles. Will Ben, Mike, Erica, Catherine, and Arthur complete this mission or will they fail.

I liked this book because it is funny and adventurous, and also I liked the characters in the book. I recommend this book but first you have to read all the other books first. My favorite character is Ben Ripely I like him because he is really funny and smart even though he doesn’t really have the physical strength he is smart, and friendly, and skilled, a quote from the book that shows he is skilled is when the book stated, “Before I had enrolled at spy school, my response to this crisis would have been very different. I would have either tried to explain, in Spanish, why these men were making a mistake. Or I would have passed out in fear. But by now, I had learned many tricks of the spy game. I had been in so many dangerous situations that I didn’t pass out or panic. Instead, I managed to stay relatively calm and tried to focus on how to survive.” This shows that Ben is smart because he used to be very unskilled at being a spy but he is improving. My favorite quote from the book is, “My name is Kit Karoo, and I’m one of the many hospitality crew members on the Emperor of the Seas! Our job is to make sure you’re having the best vacation of your life! It’s your turn to board the shuttle to the ship! So who’s ready to have some fun?! Her enthusiasm was infectious. Everyone around us cheered with excitement. Erica, still in character, gave a loud whoop of fake joy.” I like this quote because the character Erica isn’t really happy all the time and she is cold, but she has to pretend to be having a good time if she wants to stay in disguise so she lets out a fake whoop of joy.

I would take places with my dad for three reasons. My dad works for a medical device company called Intuitive Surgical which manufactures the Da Vinci surgical system which helps patients receive minimally invasive surgery, my dad is the manager for Latin America, Asia pacific and Middle East and Africa. He manages his distributor partners in those countries, Intuitive partners with local companies that have expertise in their respective countries to help bring advance technology to these markets, he manages the field service side. Field Engineers and managers that work for the distributors to ensure that they are providing service according to his guidelines and procedures, he helps with their training, logistics, technical questions, and everything else in between and he is responsible for distributors in 35 different countries. The first reason why I would want to switch lives with my dad for a day is because I want to see how hard it is to work for many hours and see how hard it is to keep up with work because my dad always says “Enjoy school while it lasts because when you get a job it’s going to be way harder and more stressful.” Another reason is I could drive my own car and go to places. Another reason is whenever my siblings are very loud, I can tell my sibling to be quiet because I am the man of the house and I run the place and they can’t talk back to me.
